Position Title: Manager (Accounts & Finance)

Reports To: Deputy General Manager / General Manager (Accounts & Finance)
Location: Head Office - Islamabad

- Position Summary
The Manager (Accounts & Finance) will oversee the full spectrum of accounting, financial management, treasury, and corporate finance functions for PIAHCL and its subsidiaries. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, efficient treasury operations, effective budgeting and forecasting, and strong internal controls. The position serves as a key link between operational accounting and strategic finance, providing management with financial insights for informed decision-making.
- Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and Companies Act, 2017.
- Consolidate subsidiary accounts for group reporting.
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Budgeting, Planning & Analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Prepare rolling forecasts, variance analyses, and financial models for decision-making.
- Provide insights on financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
Treasury & Capital Management
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and daily treasury operations.
- Oversee banking relationships, debt servicing, and financing arrangements.
- Support capital structuring, debt restructuring, and investment of surplus funds.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to SECP regulations, Companies Act, SOE Act 2023, and applicable tax laws.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of observations.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings and statutory reports.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Implement and monitor financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Support enterprise risk management by assessing financial risks and mitigation strategies.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, supervise, and mentor Assistant Managers, Accountants, and Finance Officers.
- Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Act as deputy to the Deputy GM/GM (Accounts & Finance) when required.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CPA, CFA, CMA, or Bachelor's with 16 years of education in Finance/Accounting from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- Minimum 07 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 03 years in a managerial role in accounting/finance/treasury within a large corporate, SOE, or regulated industry.
- Strong exposure to ERP/accounting systems, corporate finance, and statutory compliance.
Maximum Age:
40 years
